TCSL announces 2025-26 pathways; more opportunities for more teams than ever before

Bloomington, Minn. – Twin Cities Soccer Leagues is pleased to announce 2025-26 League and Cup pathways, each representing unique and incredible opportunities for clubs and teams within the TCSL structure.

The 2024-25 season saw 20 clubs and 26 teams chase their post-season dreams in their respective pathway. TCSL expects the 2025-26 number to increase to more clubs and consequently, more teams.

Summary of 2025-26 changes:

  • The Minnesota NPL is now a singular level; as such, league winners advance to the NPL Finals. Previously, the NPL Premier division winner did not advance.
  • ECNL RL league winners advance to the Central playoffs; advancing teams will attend the ECNL RL Finals. The ECNL post-season is a two-stage postseason.

In the event that teams win both the League and the Cup pathways, TCSL provides a travel stipend to attend the League pathway to assist with associated travel costs.

**The League and Cup pathways are independent pathways. While many/most teams elect to do both, the pathways are independent.
