Age Group Calendars

TCSL Reps embraces a “club first” approach.

The program operates during cold-weather months prior to the main club soccer season to conflict as minimally as possible with club schedules.
If there is a conflict, players should seek approval from their team coach and/or club director.

ELIGIBILITY

Players must play for a TCSL club in a TCSL-sanctioned league such as NPL, or other TCSL level.

Birth years: 2010, 2011 and 2012. No play ups.

PROCESS

  1. Club directors, in collaboration with staff and coaches, will submit to TCSL a small group of players that they see as suitable for the Reps program.
  2. TCSL then invites these players to Reps Player Trials.
  3. Evaluators score and rank players at 2 days of trials.
  4. TCSL invites players based on these evaluations and forms teams within a week.

All players will receive a ranking:

Event Roster – These top 20 players will be invited to travel to an out-of-state event. They will also participate in the Winter Development Training Program, consisting of 5 training sessions and 4 local games in January and February.
Winter Development Training Roster – Approximately 6-10 additional players who will participate in the Winter Development Training Program, consisting of 5 training sessions and 4 local games in January and February. These players are also the first to be called up should an Event Roster player be unavailable for the out-of-state event.
Reserve – Players invited as needed, dependent on status of Event Roster / Winter Development Training Roster players (for example: injuries, player drops, etc.)

Yes. Our goal is to identify and provide opportunities for the TCSL’s most talented players, regardless of financial situation.

We will collaborate with club leaders to be as non-conflicting as possible and also control the NPL schedule to not conflict/clash with league matches. This program will be highly supplementary.

We plan to only use high-quality facilities, and turf, if possible. We will, as much as possible, rotate events around the metro to ensure geographic diversity and ensuring that clubs get a chance to host events, should they desire.
